Who am I

I’m Blake! Over the years, I’ve worn a lot of professional hats—project manager, marketer, product developer and even, correctional officer—but it’s in product management and UX design where I truly thrive. I love diving into the process of creating products that not only look great but actually solve real problems for people.

I’m not your typical corporate junkie. I speak like a human, not a robot, and I bring that same energy into the way I work. Whether I’m collaborating with teams or engaging with users, my goal is to make things approachable, authentic, and, most importantly, impactful.

What gets me out of bed every morning is the challenge of turning complex ideas into seamless, user-friendly experiences. I’m all about blending data-driven insights with creativity to build products that resonate with people. And while I’m serious about delivering results, I like to have a little fun along the way.

DRBY App

DRBY App was created to bridge the gap between sidewalk vendors and their customers by providing a user-friendly platform that enhances the street vending experience. The app allowed vendors to showcase their offerings, while customers could easily discover, connect, and engage with local vendors in real time. It was designed to support the growing community of sidewalk businesses by making transactions seamless and accessible, while empowering vendors to reach a wider audience and streamline their operations.

Luminance Brands

Designing a Lighting Collection is both an art and a strategic process that involves balancing aesthetics with functionality. It starts with deep market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies. From there, the creative process begins—sketching initial concepts, selecting materials, and defining the unique style of the collection.

Collaboration is key.

Working with product managers, engineers, and designers ensures the technical specifications, like lumens, color temperature, and energy efficiency, are aligned with the design vision. Prototyping and testing follow, where both design elements and performance are fine-tuned to ensure the fixtures meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Finally, the collection is ready for launch, complete with marketing materials that highlight both the technical innovation and the aesthetic appeal of the lighting products.
